Canada – UAE Business Council
About
The Council serves senior decision-makers of best-in-class private corporations and organizations operating across strategic sectors including energy, infrastructure, financial services, aerospace, healthcare, technology, and agriculture. With C-level members who are leaders in their respective industries, the CUBC works to increase two-way trade and investment on behalf of companies and in collaboration with partners in both countries. The organization provides strategic insight, economic intelligence, premium network access, and tailored business services to its exclusive membership base.
The economic relationship between Canada and the UAE is substantial and growing. In 2024, Canadian merchandise exports to the UAE reached CAD 2.5 billion, making the UAE Canada's largest export market in the MENA region. Bilateral investment ties exceed C$100 billion, with more than 200 Canadian companies operating in the UAE and over 60,000 Canadians living and working in the country. Through high-level roundtables, sector-specific working groups, and strategic advocacy, the CUBC continues to deepen this partnership and unlock new opportunities for economic prosperity in both nations.
