About

The Chinese Business Council (CBC) stands as one of the most prominent foreign business councils registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Established in June 2004, the CBC has grown into a vital platform representing Chinese business interests in the United Arab Emirates, with 186 member companies actively investing and operating across the region.

The Council serves as a strategic bridge between Chinese enterprises and the UAE's dynamic business environment, facilitating trade, investment, and commercial partnerships. Member companies span diverse vital sectors including energy, construction, communications, textiles, shipping, air transport, logistics, financial services, furniture, and exhibitions. As a registered entity among more than 41 foreign business councils in Dubai, the CBC plays a crucial role in strengthening China-UAE economic relations and supporting Chinese companies in navigating the opportunities and complexities of the UAE market. Through its network and advocacy efforts, the Council contributes significantly to the bilateral trade relationship that has positioned China as the UAE's leading global trading partner.

Mission & Mandate

The Chinese Business Council serves as a strategic platform for Chinese enterprises operating in the UAE, fostering business growth and strengthening bilateral economic cooperation between China and the United Arab Emirates.

Core Objectives:

• Represent and advocate for the interests of Chinese member companies across vital sectors including energy, construction, communications, textiles, shipping, air transport, logistics, financial services, and exhibitions

• Facilitate trade and investment opportunities between Chinese businesses and UAE counterparts

• Provide a robust networking platform connecting 186 member companies and enabling strategic partnerships

• Support Chinese enterprises in navigating the UAE business environment and regulatory landscape

• Strengthen China-UAE economic relations through active engagement with government entities and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry

• Promote best practices and facilitate knowledge exchange among member companies operating in diverse industries
