About

The Iranian Business Council (IBC) is a well-established non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization founded in 1992 in Dubai. Licensed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, IBC serves as a vital platform bringing together leaders of UAE-based Iranian companies to facilitate regional and international trade. With over three decades of operation, the council has played a significant role in fostering bilateral business relationships between Iran and the UAE, supporting the Iranian business community that has been an integral part of Dubai's economic landscape since the early days of the UAE's development.

IBC provides its member companies—ranging from globally recognized brands to innovative SMEs—with a comprehensive array of business-focused information, advocacy, and advisory services on both policy and operating issues. Members span diverse sectors including banking and financial services, legal services, consulting, manufacturing, agriculture, construction, technology, transportation, communications, education, and trading. Through its various committees (Legal, Membership, Public Relations, Youth, and Training), IBC facilitates meaningful engagement between members and UAE officials, industry specialists, and fellow business leaders.

Mission & Mandate

The Iranian Business Council (IBC) provides a forum where Iranian business executives and other business leaders with interests in Iran-UAE trade can identify, discuss, explore, and pursue business and social interests regarding their activities in the UAE market. The council is committed to strengthening economic, cultural, and commercial connections between Iran and the UAE while supporting the growth and success of its member companies.

Core Objectives:

• Provide member companies with comprehensive information, advocacy, and advisory services on policy and operating issues relevant to the UAE business environment

• Facilitate networking opportunities and meaningful engagement between members, UAE officials, private-sector specialists, and industry leaders

• Organize business and social meetings, presentations, seminars, conferences, and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and professional development

• Strengthen connections among local entities and associations that share mutual business interests between Iran and the UAE

• Support members through specialized committees offering expertise in legal consultation, membership development, public relations, youth engagement, and professional training
