The Council serves as a vital platform for Japanese enterprises to access business and investment opportunities throughout the UAE and the broader region. Member companies represent a diverse range of strategic sectors including transport and logistics, energy and renewable energy, mining, water solutions, technology and telecommunications, manufacturing, education, and real estate development. The JBC works in close coordination with JETRO Dubai (Japan External Trade Organization) and supports the broader UAE-Japan business relationship, which has seen remarkable growth with non-oil trade exceeding AED 47 billion and Japanese investments in the UAE surpassing AED 15 billion.
As the UAE continues to position itself as Japan's premier gateway to Middle Eastern and African markets, the JBC plays a crucial role in facilitating partnerships, knowledge exchange, and technology transfer between Japanese companies and their UAE counterparts, contributing to the economic diversification and innovation objectives of both nations.

The Japanese Business Council in Dubai serves as the primary platform for advancing business partnerships and investment cooperation between Japanese companies and their UAE counterparts, fostering mutual economic growth and innovation across strategic sectors.
Core Objectives:
• Facilitate business development and investment opportunities for Japanese companies operating in the UAE and wider Middle East region
• Promote knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and best practices between Japanese and UAE business communities
• Support member companies in accessing the UAE's diverse market opportunities across transport, energy, technology, manufacturing, and emerging economy sectors
• Strengthen strategic partnerships aligned with future economic trends including artificial intelligence, fourth industrial revolution applications, renewable energy, and smart transport
• Serve as a bridge for dialogue between Japanese businesses, UAE government entities, and regulatory bodies to enhance the bilateral investment climate
• Organize networking events, industry forums, and business missions to deepen collaboration and expand commercial relationships between the two nations
