The Portuguese Business Council in Dubai (PBCD) is a private, non-profit organization established in May 2016 and registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry as its 48th country-specific business council. Founded by 25 prominent Portuguese businesses and professionals, the Council serves as a strategic platform dedicated to strengthening commercial, investment, and cultural ties between Portugal and the Emirate of Dubai.

The PBCD provides comprehensive support to Portuguese companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals seeking to establish or expand their presence in the UAE market. The Council facilitates meaningful connections with Emirati public and private institutions, enabling market access, strategic partnerships, and bilateral collaboration opportunities. The Portuguese Business Council in Dubai is committed to improving networking and business opportunities for Portuguese companies and individuals in the UAE, with particular focus on Dubai. The Council operates through three core strategic objectives:

• Business Growth & Development: Providing an established platform for Portuguese companies and individuals already operating in the UAE to expand their businesses, identify viable opportunities, and enhance their market position in the region.

• Market Entry Support: Supporting Portuguese companies and individuals seeking to establish themselves in the UAE by providing comprehensive assistance, strategic guidance, and all necessary support for successful market entry.

• Bilateral Trade Promotion: Promoting Portugal and its business opportunities to UAE-based companies and individuals by creating effective ties to expand business relationships with Portugal, thereby strengthening bilateral relations and trade between both nations.

• Strategic Networking: Facilitating connections between Portuguese companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals with Emirati public and private institutions through monthly networking events and exclusive gatherings.

• Knowledge Sharing: Organizing educational events, workshops, breakfast sessions with industry leaders, and business development activities to foster collaboration and insight exchange within the business community.
