About

The Serbian Business Council (SBC) is a non-profit business organization established in 2023 and operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers Business Groups and Councils. As the first joint business council formed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and Dubai Chamber of Commerce, SBC serves as a key platform for strengthening economic and trade relations between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates. The council provides essential support to Serbian businesses seeking to establish or expand their operations in Dubai, the UAE, and the wider Gulf region.

SBC's membership encompasses a diverse community including local branches of Serbian companies, Serbian-owned or managed enterprises, agents of Serbian firms, individuals with business relationships to Serbia, Serbian nationals working in the Gulf, and UAE-based companies interested in conducting business with Serbia. The council operates through a democratically elected board serving two-year terms, currently leading the organization until October 2025.

Through regular monthly business gatherings, annual general assemblies, and collaborative events with other Eastern European business councils, SBC actively facilitates networking opportunities, knowledge sharing, and business development initiatives. The council works closely with Dubai Chambers, various business groups, and institutional partners to enhance the visibility and presence of Serbian businesses in the region, while simultaneously promoting the investment and developmental opportunities available in both Serbia and the UAE.

Mission & Mandate

The Serbian Business Council provides a comprehensive platform dedicated to fostering bilateral economic cooperation and business development between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates.

• Economic Bridge Building: Strengthen ties between Serbian and Emirati businesses and business professionals, creating meaningful partnerships and collaborative opportunities across industries.

• Business Development Support: Assist Serbian businesses in establishing and expanding their operations in Dubai and the UAE, enabling capacity amplification and successful market entry.

• Bilateral Trade Enhancement: Promote and facilitate bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Serbia and the UAE, creating value for both business communities.

• Market Promotion: Increase visibility of the Serbian business community in the UAE while showcasing business, developmental, and investment opportunities available in both Serbia and the UAE.

• Networking & Collaboration: Organize regular business gatherings, events, and collaborative initiatives with Dubai Chambers and other business councils to facilitate knowledge sharing and partnership development.

• Inclusive Community: Build an inclusive business environment that welcomes people of all genders, nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds, fostering positive community impact and integration in the global business landscape.
