The Council works in close collaboration with strategic partners including Business Sweden, the Embassy of Sweden, and the Dubai Chambers of Commerce, ensuring members benefit from institutional support and market intelligence. Through this extensive network, the SBC facilitates access to key stakeholders, decision-makers, and business opportunities across the region.

Mission & Mandate
The Swedish Business Council's mission is to connect, support, and promote Swedish professionals and businesses in the UAE, enabling sustainable growth and fostering strong bilateral relations between Sweden and the United Arab Emirates.
Core Objectives:
• Facilitate Strategic Connections: Build and maintain a comprehensive network encompassing Swedish businesses, Nordic business councils, international organizations, and UAE-based entities to create valuable partnership opportunities
• Create Professional Platforms: Organize business meetings, workshops, seminars, and industry-specific networking events that address current market trends, regulatory developments, and growth opportunities in the UAE
• Enable Knowledge Sharing: Foster a collaborative environment where members exchange expertise, market insights, and best practices to drive mutual development and business excellence
• Support Market Entry & Expansion: Provide guidance and resources to Swedish companies establishing or expanding their presence in the UAE market, leveraging partnerships with Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy
• Strengthen Bilateral Relations: Serve as a key facilitator for Swedish-UAE trade and investment, working closely with government bodies and regulatory authorities to promote favorable business conditions
• Develop Specialized Networks: Maintain targeted networking groups including CEO Network, Executive HR Network, Sustainability Network, Young Professionals, and sector-specific forums to address diverse member needs
• Promote Swedish Business Culture: Celebrate Swedish traditions and values while fostering cultural understanding and integration within the UAE business environment
