About

The Swiss Business Council United Arab Emirates (SBC) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 and licensed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. For nearly three decades, the SBC has served as the primary platform for fostering business relations and promoting commercial interests between the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland. The council provides a dynamic forum where companies and individuals with Swiss connections can network, collaborate, and access valuable market insights within the UAE's thriving business ecosystem.

The SBC serves a diverse membership community ranging from UAE national corporations and Swiss multinationals to individual entrepreneurs and professionals. Membership is open to Swiss nationals, Swiss-registered organizations, and local representatives, agents, or distributors of Swiss goods and services who can demonstrate a clear business or cultural focus with Switzerland. • Business Networking & Community Building: Facilitate regular networking events, social gatherings, and member activities to foster meaningful connections and enable the exchange of ideas and experiences among the Swiss business community in the UAE.

• Market Intelligence & Business Support: Provide members with valuable updates, newsletters, and insights covering business trends, cultural developments, and promotional activities relevant to operating in the UAE market.

• Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy: Organize presentations and facilitate dialogue with influential local and expatriate speakers, Swiss and UAE government representatives, and key decision-makers to address business interests and regulatory matters.

• Swiss Market Entry & Expansion: Support the introduction and establishment of new Swiss companies entering the UAE market while assisting existing members in optimizing their business presence and operations.
