About

The Dubai Car Dealers Business Group (DCDBG) is a sector-focused business association established in May 2019 under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As the 31st business group launched by Dubai Chamber, DCDBG serves as the unified voice for automotive dealers operating in Dubai, representing over 50 world-renowned automobile brands across European, Japanese, American, Chinese, and Korean segments.

DCDBG's membership comprises leading authorized distributors and automotive groups in the UAE, including AW Rostamani Automotive Group, Al Futtaim Automotive, Al Ghandi Auto, Galadari Automobiles, AGMC, Gargash Enterprises, Al Nabooda Automobiles, Juma Al Majid, Al Habtoor Motors, Al Tayer Motors, Union Motors, Al Naboodah Swaidan Motors, and Al Rostamani Trading Company. Together, these entities represent a significant portion of the UAE's automotive industry, which contributes approximately AED 60 billion to the national economy.

The organization facilitates constructive dialogue between the private automotive sector and government entities, including Dubai Customs and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Through its platform, DCDBG addresses regulatory challenges, shares industry feedback, and collaborates on policy development to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of Dubai's automotive sector while preparing the industry for transformational trends such as autonomous, connected, electric, and shared mobility (ACES).

Mission & Mandate

Vision: To establish a close working relationship via Dubai Chamber with relevant public and private entities to find innovative solutions for the automotive industry.

Mission: To represent the interests of automotive dealers in Dubai with one voice towards relevant Dubai government entities.

Core Objectives:

• Unite the voices of member companies to serve common interests and enhance the overall competitiveness of the UAE automotive industry

• Foster public-private sector dialogue on important matters impacting the automotive sector in Dubai, ensuring alignment with government-led initiatives

• Provide an ideal platform for automotive dealers to voice concerns and share feedback on regulations impacting industry stakeholders

• Identify key challenges facing car dealers in Dubai and develop innovative solutions to address industry obstacles

• Collaborate with government entities such as the RTA and Dubai Customs on critical issues including data sharing, vehicle infringement, insurance regulations, and legislative development

• Prepare the automotive industry for transformational trends including autonomous vehicles, connected mobility, electric vehicles, and shared mobility (ACES)

• Share policy recommendations with Dubai Chamber and concerned government entities to raise industry standards and ensure appropriate future regulations
