The Dubai Renewable Energy Business Group (DREBG) is a dynamic non-profit organization established in January 2023 under the guidance and auspices of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. The organization serves as a catalyst for sustainable energy transformation in Dubai by uniting key stakeholders across the renewable energy value chain, including distributors, re-sellers, developers, integrators, EPC companies, financial institutions, and industry professionals. DREBG creates a collaborative platform where thought leaders and change-makers work together to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions in alignment with the UAE Energy Strategy 2050 and Dubai's Clean Energy Strategy 2050.

DREBG plays a vital role in Dubai's business environment by facilitating meaningful dialogue between the private sector, government entities, and industry stakeholders. The organization hosts regular roundtable meetings, panel discussions, webinars, and networking events that address critical industry topics such as technology trends, financing options, policy innovation, and utility-scale renewable deployment. With a board comprising over a century of collective industry experience, DREBG provides members with valuable market intelligence, advocacy representation, speaking opportunities, and access to international delegations and conferences.

Through its diverse membership base and strategic initiatives, DREBG actively contributes to positioning Dubai as a global hub for the green economy. The organization's work supports the UAE's ambitious goal of producing 75% of Dubai's energy from clean sources by 2050, while fostering business development, innovation, and sustainable growth opportunities for companies operating in the renewable energy sector throughout the Middle East region.

Vision: To assist Dubai in realizing its renewable energy objectives and support the emirate's transformation into a global hub for the green economy.

Mission: Forge connections, foster cooperation, and engage in collaboration with government entities and industry stakeholders to drive Dubai's energy transition and achieve its Net Zero 2050 vision.

Core Objectives:

• Creating a credible and capable platform to discuss and drive renewable energy initiatives while representing and supporting the industry's best interests in line with the UAE's renewable energy vision

• Facilitating collaboration and partnerships among businesses, government agencies, financial institutions, and organizations across the renewable energy sector to accelerate sustainable energy deployment

• Providing education and awareness-raising initiatives through exhibitions, webinars, seminars, and training programs to inform stakeholders about renewable energy benefits, technology trends, and best practices

• Benchmarking and recognizing accomplishments within the renewable industry while creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and experience exchange among members and the broader business community

• Identifying opportunities to drive In-Country Value (ICV), encouraging and mentoring start-ups, and supporting the development of local renewable energy capabilities and expertise

• Creating networking opportunities and events to connect stakeholders, foster business matchmaking, and enable dialogue with government and regulatory bodies on policy development and industry growth strategies
