About
DTTAG serves as a vital link between its member agencies and key industry stakeholders, including airlines, IATA, hotels, and other service providers, as well as government entities such as the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and Dubai Economic Department (DED). The association is actively involved in multiple tourism verticals, including airline ticketing, outbound and inbound tourism, domestic tours, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
Governed by a nine-member Executive Committee comprising senior management professionals from leading travel agencies, DTTAG focuses on promoting cooperation, maintaining industry standards, and creating networking opportunities for its members. The association facilitates knowledge-sharing through regular training programs, industry events, and direct engagement with regulatory bodies, ensuring that Dubai's travel agency community remains competitive, professional, and aligned with the emirate's vision as a leading global tourism hub.

Core Objectives:
• Industry Representation: Act as a negotiating body and advocate for members with airlines, IATA, hotels, suppliers, and government authorities on matters pertaining to the travel trade
• Standards & Professionalism: Set, monitor, and maintain service standards within Dubai's travel agencies, establishing association membership as a guarantee of professionalism and quality
• Collaboration & Networking: Promote cooperation, understanding, and goodwill between members of the travel trade within and outside Dubai
• Professional Development: Provide subsidized industry training and skill enhancement programs for members on a regular basis through partnerships with leading training institutions
• Business Growth: Create opportunities for members to promote their products and services, secure new customers, and tap into industry knowledge and research
• Government Liaison: Engage with regulatory bodies including DCAA, DCCI, DTCM, and DED to address issues of importance and urgency affecting the travel agency community
