About

The Electronics Group (TEG) is the official body representing the electronics trade in the United Arab Emirates. Established in 1985 and operating under the aegis of Dubai Chambers, TEG serves as a unified voice for the electronics industry, bringing together some of the UAE's most highly regarded companies and international brands in the electronics sector.

TEG plays a pivotal role in Dubai's business ecosystem by fostering collaboration among electronics retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and service providers. The association facilitates dialogue between the private sector and government regulatory bodies, including Dubai Chamber, Dubai Customs, Dubai Economy, and the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA). Through this strategic positioning, TEG actively influences policy development and advocates for industry standards that benefit both businesses and consumers.

The organization is committed to promoting ethical trade practices, protecting consumers from counterfeit products, and ensuring that only genuine, quality electronics reach the market through proper channels. By providing a platform for knowledge exchange, networking opportunities, and collective action on industry challenges, TEG strengthens the competitiveness of its members while contributing to the UAE's reputation for quality and service excellence in the electronics sector.
