About

The Vietnamese Business Council in the UAE (VNBC) is a non-profit, private association officially licensed by Dubai Chambers, established to strengthen economic and commercial ties between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates. Since its formal establishment in October 2024, the Council has rapidly grown to serve over 40 active members, with ambitious plans to expand to 80 members by 2026. The Council's foundation builds upon Vietnam's significant economic relationship with the UAE, where bilateral non-oil trade reached AED 31.7 billion in 2023, representing a 12.2% year-over-year increase.

VNBC serves as a vital bridge connecting Vietnamese entrepreneurs, businesses, and professionals operating in the UAE with opportunities across both markets. The Council provides comprehensive support including market intelligence, business matchmaking, networking events, and expert consulting for companies seeking to establish or expand their presence in either country. With a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City established in July 2023, VNBC facilitates deeper engagement with the Vietnamese business community while maintaining strong connections with UAE government bodies, free zones, and international business councils.

Through strategic partnerships with organizations such as Dubai Chamber of Commerce, DMCC, Ajman Free Zone, and various UAE authorities, VNBC organizes regular business forums, trade missions, and networking events that have facilitated hundreds of bilateral business meetings. The Council plays a crucial role in promoting sectors including logistics, technology, manufacturing, food and beverages, tourism, construction, and sustainable agriculture, positioning itself as the leading platform for Vietnam-UAE business collaboration in the region.

Core Objectives:

• Business Consulting & Market Entry Support: Provide guidance on legal procedures, taxation, company formation, and market entry strategies for Vietnamese businesses establishing operations in the UAE, and similarly assist UAE businesses exploring investment opportunities in Vietnam

• Market Intelligence & Resources: Deliver comprehensive market insights, business directories, databases, and sector-specific intelligence for both the UAE and Vietnam markets, enabling members to identify growth opportunities and understand market dynamics

• Business Connections & Collaboration: Strengthen ties between the business communities of both countries through networking events, business matchmaking programs, trade missions, and forums that facilitate meaningful partnerships and collaborations

• Cross-Border Trade Facilitation: Promote two-way market access and trade relations, particularly in high-potential sectors including logistics, technology, manufacturing, food production, sustainable agriculture, construction, and tourism

• Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain collaborations with UAE free zones, chambers of commerce, government ministries, and international business councils to enhance member access to resources and opportunities

• Knowledge Sharing & Professional Development: Organize seminars, workshops, business forums, and educational programs that foster innovation, share best practices, and support the professional growth of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the UAE
