About
ZIBCO's core mandate is to promote bilateral trade and investment between Zimbabwe and the UAE while supporting, promoting, and advocating for the commercial interests of its members. The council provides a strategic platform for Zimbabwean businesses entering the UAE market and enables UAE-based entities to access opportunities in Zimbabwe through trusted networks, market insights, and facilitation support. With the UAE being Zimbabwe's second-largest export destination market, ZIBCO plays a pivotal role in strengthening the trade corridor between the two nations, which has witnessed significant growth with UAE imports from Zimbabwe reaching $2.3 billion in 2021.
As a dynamic ecosystem builder, ZIBCO facilitates meaningful connections between business communities, offers formal representation through Dubai Chambers, and creates lasting value for members and partners across various sectors. The council's strategic approach encompasses connecting businesses, providing market intelligence, fostering knowledge exchange, and enabling sustainable business development opportunities for both established companies and emerging enterprises.

Vision: To position and promote ZIBCO as the premier catalyst for Zimbabwe-UAE business growth, fostering a dynamic ecosystem that amplifies opportunities, drives innovation, and creates lasting value for members and partners.
Mission: To serve as a dynamic platform that connects and empowers UAE-based and Zimbabwean businesses by facilitating meaningful networks, advancing commercial interests, and promoting bilateral trade through strategic partnerships, knowledge exchange, and innovation-driven initiatives.
Core Objectives:
• Business Representation & Advocacy: Promote and protect the business and professional interests of Zimbabwean-owned, led, or affiliated enterprises operating in the UAE across all sectors, representing member concerns through advocacy and policy engagement with UAE and Zimbabwean institutions
• Market Access & Visibility: Facilitate greater visibility, market access, and positioning of Zimbabwean-owned businesses and their goods and services within the UAE and regional markets
• Trade & Investment Facilitation: Foster meaningful trade, investment, and collaboration between Zimbabwean companies, entrepreneurs, and UAE-based partners through structured platforms, forums, and initiatives
• Opportunity Development: Actively identify, support, and promote high-impact trade and investment opportunities that increase the flow of goods, services, and capital between the two countries
• Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with key institutions including Zimbabwe Investment and Development Association (ZIDA), ZimTrade, Dubai Chambers, and the Zimbabwe Embassy in the UAE to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation
